The Above Ground Level Discs Cypress was our first mold to be PDGA approved. It was made by a different manufacturer, that we are no longer using for injection molding. The plastic we had created for this mold was called "Treeline" plastic. It is super grippy and extremely durable, yet also flexible at the same time. The disc design is truly unique in that the rim wall is not perpendicular to the flight plate, making it extremely comfortable for your hands. This was something we designed with a 3D printer, right here in the Bay Area, CA. Then we worked to get it into production; only to have it retooled and remade - because the first run was TOO BEEFY!
